This part was molded in SolidWorks® based on a clay
model concept from a local entrepreneur. Its structural
requirements led to numerous design iterations that
were tested virtually with    COSMOSWorks® FEA software. 
Physical parts were made directly from the solid model
through the design process using a 3-D printing machine.
