Dedicated to flawless molding
The injection molding process mainly includes four stages: filling, holding pressure, cooling and demolding. These four stages directly determine the molding quality of the product, and these four stages are a complete and continuous process.
These four stages in injection molding directly determine the molding quality of the product, and these four stages form a complete and continuous process.
At Diamond Mold, each step is handled with care to ensure precision and consistency.

To ensure a smooth injection molding process and guarantee the quality of plastic parts, we generally do some necessary preparatory work before injection. This includes inspecting and measuring the appearance (such as color, particle size, and uniformity) and processing properties (flowability, thermal stability, and shrinkage) of the raw materials to determine whether the various properties of the raw materials meet the required parameters.
Then we will check whether the properties of the raw materials meet the required parameters; dye the raw materials; test the moisture content; thoroughly dry certain hygroscopic plastics (such as polyamide, ABS, etc.) to prevent defects such as silver streaks, spots, bubbles and degradation from appearing on the product surface; clean the barrel before molding different types of plastics or when decomposition is found in the plastic.
When molding plastic parts with inserts, the inserts should be preheated to prevent the plastic around the inserts from cracking due to stress; for plastic parts that are difficult to demold, a suitable mold release agent should be selected. Due to the differences in the type and form of injection molding materials, the structure of the plastic part, whether there are inserts, and the requirements for use, the preparation work before molding various plastic parts is not entirely the same.
